Texture is one of the first things you will notice when viewing my art. It defines my pieces. It’s also what will capture the attention of anyone who walks through your space, where you have one of my gorgeous artworks hanging.

I love playing with layers of paint and using palette knives to give my art their rich, tactile quality. This means you don’t just see the beauty of the wildlife – you can almost feel it too! I spy three of my gorgeous textured birds amongst the beautiful Australian artworks at Gifts at Teacup. They are such a wonderful supporter of Australian artists, make sure to check them out and give them a follow, and of course, check out my pieces.
I recently painted this piece, a couple of gorgeous Bourke’s Parrots. This colour is a mutation of the original parrots, they have a few mutations now, but of course I had to paint them in this beautiful rose, pink colour. They are so pretty.
