A little snippet about me...
Hi, I’m Cassie, an Australian artist who paints colourful, slightly cheeky birds and joyful scenes that celebrate curiosity, confidence and being unapologetically you.
After years of exploring colour, emotion and connection, I found myself drawn to birds, these curious, expressive little characters full of personality. What began as soulful explorations of nature shifted into playful, whimsical storytelling, where birds become mirrors for our own desire to be seen, heard, and be unashamedly ourselves.
Many of my paintings begin with a moment that in life that makes me smile, such as a colourful multi-layered cake, a scene in nature, a colour calling me. Then a playful thought pops up: what if a bird were doing this instead? Before I know it, a cockatoo is discovering a three-layer cake, an ibis dreams of being pink and sitting with some galahs. These playful sparks of imagination become joyful paintings that remind us life is meant to be colourful, fun, and a little quirky.

My Journey
Painting has become part of my spiritual practice, a way to express what can’t always be said in words. It’s also been a space for healing and rediscovering joy, especially through my pieces like I’m Pink and Living the Pink Dream, reminders that being yourself (no matter how quirky or colourful) is your greatest strength.
Today, my art is evolving, becoming more intuitive, soulful, and guided by feeling. Whether it’s a bold bird bursting with character or a soft, abstract floral filled with light, my intention is the same; to create art that uplifts, heals, and makes your heart do a happy dance.
