A little snippet about me...
I’m Cassie Holmes, an Australian artist guided by intuition, emotion, nature and the Universe. My art is a gentle invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and find beauty in the quiet spaces within.
After years of painting the colour and character of Australia’s wildlife, I began to feel a deep calling to express something more, to move beyond what I see and instead paint what I feel. That shift became the heart of my creative journey, a return to my inner truth, where art becomes not just something I create, but something I listen to.
Each painting begins intuitively with a feeling or story I need to paint. I'm led by energy, emotion, and of course, colour. At times I let the brush flow freely, and others I add details like a bird's feather, a woman's gaze, a petal of a flower, allowing each piece to unfold as it's meant to. My process is as much spiritual as it is creative. It’s about trust, surrender, and the beauty of being in harmony with what wants to come through.
My hope is that when you see my work, you feel something stir inside you, some calm or connection, maybe even a sense of being seen. I want my art to be a mirror for your soul, a gentle reminder that freedom, healing, and joy live within us all.

My Journey
Painting has become part of my spiritual practice, a way to express what can’t always be said in words. Today, my art is evolving, becoming more intuitive, soulful, and guided by feeling. Whether it’s a bold bird bursting with character or a soft, abstract floral filled with light, my intention is the same; to create art that uplifts, heals, and makes your heart do a happy dance.
