Family Memories is a celebration of connection, nature, and the joy of remembering where we come from. Inspired by my grandparents’ home in Stanthorpe, a region famous for its apple orchards, this textured oil painting captures a slice of Australian life.

The scene features an idyllic apple orchard, a Hills Hoist clothesline, and cheeky cockatoos enjoying the apple bounty. It’s also tied to a treasured family story: my Nana recalling a frosty morning when her washed sheets froze stiff on the line, a memory that speaks to both the chill of Stanthorpe winters and the warmth of family love.
