Refund Policy

Cassie Holmes Art offers clients a 7 day return period on original artworks from the time of the purchaser receiving delivery of the artwork, should they change their mind once they see the artwork in person. We understand that when you get your purchase home, sometimes it may not look like you thought it would in your space. The refund process is:

  • The client is required to email Cassie Holmes Art with their request to return the art immediately.

  • The artwork must be repackaged as it was delivered, preferably using the same packaging material. It must be wrapped in the acid free paper, corner protectors, three layers of bubble wrap, plenty of tape to keep everything in place, a thick layer of cardboard, sometimes two layers, and clearly labelled.

  • The client is responsible for the cost of return shipping, using the same method as the delivery, including a signature on delivery and insurance on the delivery.

  • A refund will be issued upon receipt of the art if it is received in the condition it was sent.

  • If the art is returned in any condition less than when it was sent originally from the artist, the client will have the cost to repair the art/product subtracted from their refund.

  • If any custom framing was added, this cost will not be refunded.

  • Returns are not available on prints, Limited Edition Prints or products due to the nature of the product and that they are printed as required, as these are considered final sale once purchased and shipped.

  • Returns are not available for any art or product purchased during a sale, as another buyer could have bought the piece during the sale. Any item purchased during a sale is considered final sale once purchased and shipped.

  • Returns and/or refunds received for art damaged during shipment are done on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Cassie Holmes Art as soon as you receive the product to determine the process for this. It may require you to submit a claim to the delivery company. At times, depending on the piece, they may be covered as part of the insurance of the delivery. If this is the case, the client will be covered for any damaged art bought from the Cassie Holmes website upon return of the damaged product, if Cassie Holmes Art has requested the item to be returned. If you believe the artwork will be damaged based on the package when you receive it, you must take photographs of the package before opening and then further photographs as you open the piece.
